Renovation ship Regentag

The Regentag ship is berthed in the guest harbour in Tulln (Lower Austria) on the Danube.
The main mast was stepped on January 18, 2024 and Hundertwasser's Koru flag flutters at the top - almost 15 meters high.
The renovated mizzen mast with a new seating platform was installed last November with the help of the fire department.
Here is a brief overview of the measures that our boat builder Tobias van Kooij will carry out:
The rig will be renovated and installed in a functional manner. One boom is newly built, the other remain. The original sails are repaired and sewn, so that sails can be properly set again on the Regentag. The renovation should be completed by end of June 2024.
